4 Pillars of Health
There is a common saying that goes, ‘Keep your feet on the ground and your head in the clouds’.
If you focus on your spiritual and physical health, you lead with integrity and character.
Once you commit to your spiritual and physical pillars of health, your emotional and mental pillars are easier to manage. This is because when we exercise, eat well, or meditate we in turn manage our emotions and stress better.
You will likely find an increase in kindness, presence, charisma, empathy, and productivity. If you don’t commit, instead you will likely find yourself impatient, intolerant, unproductive, confused, and busy.
Here is how to change:
Identify the most enjoyable and sustainable physical and spiritual practices for you,
Choose 1 physical and 1 spiritual practice. Make it an extremely short commitment so it’s easy to never skip; eg. 5 minutes of meditation and 10 pushups,
Create a routine or habit where these practices are non-negotiable in your life every day.
If you do this you will see results not just in your work, but in every area of your life. You will be happier, calmer, more confident, and content and it will be hard for others to not take notice.
